Who's Checkin' Me Out?

MORE

I have been of work now for almost a full week now.  That in itself is amazing.  What is really great about it is that I work three days a week.  For all you 5 day a weekers who are getting jealous right now, let me just add that those are 12 hour days. Well nights, really.  So we are basically putting in about the same number of hours but I'm just doing it quicker. And on top of that I'm doing it when the rest of the world is sleeping, and sleeping attempting to sleep when the rest of the world is awake and would like for me to participate in life. (did I just say that outloud?)  Oops!!!  Well, you other night shifters know what I'm talking about.

So. . that was so not my point at all!  I was going somewhere totally different with this post and got sidetracked right off my course.

Oh. . . I have been pondering my "word" for the year.  Ya know, the one I posted about the other day.  No New Year's Resolution for me.  I'm picking a word.

Here are a few words I have been pondering:

Balance
Present
Fearless
Hope
Strength
More
Joy
Acceptance
Clarity
Trust
Diligence
Prosperity
Peace
Compassion

Ok, so you get the idea.  These are all words that I want my life to reflect.

For 2011, I am choosing to focus of the word. . . . . MORE.
For some of you this may sound like a selfish word.  However I don't really see it that way.  I see this word as one that I can focus on that will also help bring about the other "words" on my list.
For example:  I want. . . MORE time, MORE knowledge, MORE God, MORE laughter, MORE prayer, MORE moments with my family, MORE peace in my life, MORE understanding, MORE forgiveness of others, MORE faith, MORE contentment, MORE love to give and to receive, MORE energy, MORE travels, MORE organization. . . just MORE!  I could go on and on about what I want more of this year.  And in having more of all these "words", I will be able to give so much more to others.  Kinda like refilling my cup, so to speak.
I will focus on this word all year long and see if I with God's help create a more positive life for myself in 2011.

Speaking of God. . .I went on a photo shoot the other day with my best girl.  Just driving around town to see what we would see.  It ended up being a "church" day for photos.  Here is one of my favorites!
